Who We Are

Bexar County Master Gardeners are members of the local community who have received special training in horticulture from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Bexar County. We provide unbiased, researched-based, locally relevant gardening information to the community through a variety of programs.

Our Mission

As a volunteer educational arm of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, the mission of the Bexar County Master Gardeners is to educate our community and surrounding areas on water conservation and research-based gardening practices and techniques as developed by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M University System.
