Who We Are

Trained volunteers, working with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension,
to provide residents with information on environmentally responsible gardening and landscaping in South/Central Texas

A source of unbiased, researched-based, and locally relevant gardening information through our
Homeowner Helpline,
“Ask a Master Gardener” program at community events, and
Gardening Classes and Workshops

Volunteers at over 70 school gardens throughout Bexar County
serving over 7,000 students

Mentors with the Children’s Vegetable Garden Program,
a Bexar County AgriLife Extension program,
which provides gardening opportunities for children at 2 gardens, located at both the San Antonio Botanical Garden and Phil Hardberger Park

Sponsors of scholarships
to undergraduate or graduate students at a Texas college or university who are pursuing degrees in horticultural-related fields
