Growing Herbs for Use and for Delight

Locally grown herbs can be used in many delightful ways. Floral arrangements, food flavorings, perfume and medicine are just a few. Join herbalist Leslie Bingham and you will learn how to plan and execute your own herb garden, what herbs grow best in our climate, what soils and amendments to use, and how to use these herbs in medicinal salves and recipes. Participants will receive an inaugural plant for their herb garden and a booklet of recipes. They will also enjoy a tasting and learn about a self-watering container.
Fee: $25 ($22.50 for SABOT members)
