Penn’s Woods: Digging into our Roots is the theme for our 2019 conference. Recognizing the region’s rich history of horticulture for more than three centuries enables the conference to include a full array of lectures, demonstrations, tours, and field study classes. Highlights will include practical methods for gardening successfully and sustainably, and “must-have” plants for gardeners. Additionally, numerous exemplary achievements by Master Gardeners from throughout the world will be acknowledged at the International Search for Excellence awards ceremony.
The Conference Planning Committee has put together a conference that offers attendees the opportunity to stay on-site and learn from the 30+ speakers scheduled or learn off-site at several public garden locations (Field Study Days). Our gardens have been very generous and you’ll be able to not only see the gardens, but earn your CEUs in classes held in the gardens. As you can imagine, there are lots of choices and details to include in the registration.
To prepare for your registration, we recommend that you print the Plan Your Day Workbook and spend time familiarizing yourself with all of the offerings.
Fees: Early Registration Fee: $350 until April 14, 2019; $390 April 15, 2019 until Close of Registration: May 23, 2019; other fees apply for Optional Tours, Field Study, Advanced Certification, and Special Program Pricing.
