Learning About Roses Through Social Media

Today people learn new ideas and join groups and organizations through social media. This program will explain how to use social media, namely Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest, to explore all things about roses. The program will begin with the basics, so no reason to be afraid of technology. Also, everyone will receive a “How To” Handout to take home.
Speakers: Claire and Dana Huerta
Claire works for a Fortune 500 Company implementing Social Responsibility programs for the employees. She also serves as a social media consultant creating Social Media posts for paying clients. Dana volunteers by creating and maintaining Facebook posts for the San Antonio Rose Society and Cibolo Creek Quilters Guild and maintains Facebook Groups as well.
Color codes for the calendar are as follows:

- Blue: These are public events for which BCMG members can also receive CEU credit.
- Green: These are events that are open to the general public.
