MG Advanced Training: Vegetables

Master Gardener Vegetables Advanced Training is open only to certified Master Gardeners.

Note:  Session hours for Feb. 13-14
Wed., February 13 – 1:00 to 5:00 PM
Thurs., February 14 – 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

The Master Gardener Advanced Training: Vegetables program is designed to provide advanced training and resources to Master Gardeners and certify them to be part of a state corps of vegetable volunteers and educators.

Master Gardener Advanced Training: Vegetables training will be comprised of high-quality training combined with hands-on experience including how to grow vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, asparagus, kale, onions, squash and broccoli.  This training will also cover site selection; soil testing; weed management; and provide instruction on planting seeds, using fertilizers and pesticides, and much more.

Fee: $235.  Deadline: January 15, 2019.
