Pollinator Basics — NPSOT Boerne Chapter Mtg.

Free.  The Native Plant Society of Texas-Boerne Chapter meeting begins at 6:30 pm with a Native plant/seed exchange & social time, followed by the Program at 7pm.  For more information, go to https://npsot.org/wp/boerne/

This presentation will cover the basic facts and habitat needs of pollinators.  Handouts will be included that discuss pollinator habitat, how to build nest boxes, and pollinator friendly native plants.

Speaker:  Shelly Maher
Shelly has worked as a research scientist with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, E. “Kika” de la Garza Plant Materials Center in Kingsville since 2002.  She has a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture and a Masters of Biology from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
