Raised Beds — SA Herb Society Mtg.

Monthly meetings of the San Antonio Herb Society, free and open to the public, begin with a pot luck social 6:30 to 7:00 PM.  Meeting starts at 7:00 PM.  For more information, contact Vicki Jamvold.

Topic:  Raised Beds
Come learn about simple construction, soil preparation, and growing in a constricted area.  A raised bed can add interesting levels to the contour of a garden and bring gardening within reach and color close to the eye.  Also learn about aspects of urban gardening for fall, preparing the garden for winter, what sort of crops we can grow, and when to plant both cuttings and seeds.
